Sadly I seemed to have misplaced some Urbana stories, so until I dig them out of my inbox I won't be able to post anymore. But I assure you God was met in deep ways in our students.
It has been a whirlwind of a 3 weeks. I have been traveling from MI, OH, to SC for training, a little R&R with a good friend, and Fund Raising. It has been a fruitful time of travel, but tiring as you can imagine.
Now this week we are faced with great opportunities as a ministry desiring to be the hands and feet of Jesus. InterVarsity has joined forces with other Christian Orgs. on campus, and we are in the process of doing a week long outreach to the WVU campus. We have deemed its name to be "Another World is Possible".
During this week we will be using proxe stations all over the campus, connecting people's stories with God's and sharing the gospel with them. We will also be using Proxes to bring awareness of issues like Evil in the world, and Human Sex Trafficking.

Each campus group involved has a night of the week that they will host a themed event revolving around "the value of human life". Each night, students will be challenged in areas of materialism and consumerism and hw our choices of product purchasing effects the world, depression and suicide, and the slave trade. We will then end the week with a celebration together of what God has done on the campus.
Students learning about Proxe Stations and how to share the Gospel.
Also throughout this week we are meeting the needs of the people in our own community by hosting a campus wide clothing drive. Students (and whoever decides to be involved) will have the opportunity of gathering their no longer worn clothes and donate them. We have designated areas in some dorms where students will be able to drop off their clothes, as well as a drop off point in So.Zo. At the end of the week, we will be donating the collection to Goodwill.
There is a lot going on this week, and I would like to ask if you would pray for all of us as we bring awareness of the value of human life in every stage, and boldly proclaim the gospel.
