This has definitely been one of the hardest semester's of ministry, but also the greatest move of God on campus and in students as well! It doesn't surprise me those 2 things happened in the same time frame!
Instead of a big huge long blog I will list out a top 10. If you want to know more about anything just message me or comment and I will elaborate ^_^ (These are not in any specific order)
Year 3 in a Glance:
1. 10 students made decisions to accept Jesus for the 1st time!!!
2. Close to 250 students heard the Gospel proclaimed
3. 4 GIGs happened with 11 non-Christian students involved and discovering God in new ways.
4. We ended the year with 6 daily prayer meetings, and 1 bi-weekly...and students went to them!
5. The chapter grew amazingly both spiritually and numerically, ending the year with over 40 students involved with the chapter, and over a dozen strong leaders and potential leaders.
6. We closed with 3 small groups meeting weekly, where over 20 students gathered to do mission and study scripture deeply.
7. Pulled off the Human Wrong campaign, where we saw a handful of people come to Christ for the 1st time, many rededications and commitments to join God's mission in proclaiming the Gospel to the world and fighting injustices, and hundreds and hundreds of petitions signed for better laws to make human trafficking more impossible.
8. 17 Students attended the WV Rural Plunge, where they served the people in central WV, and eyes were opened to issues rural West Virginians face everyday.
9. Over 20 students went to Chapter Focus Week, where they were trained in Evangelism, leadership, and scripture study, coming back renewed and more excited than ever to do ministry in the fall semester...even in the summer!!!
10. On the staff side of things...this was both the single most difficult semester (spring) of my IV staff career, and also the greatest movement of God in the lives of students and on campus that I have ever seen! God is moving and thundering his Sovereignty throughout the campus of WVU, and students are getting serious and want to be a part of what God is doing! Praise Jesus!!!!!
