new lives

This week at our weekly thursday night meetings we had Ram, Ohio area director with IV, come and speak to our group. It began a great night with new people, fabulous multi-ethnic worship, and an expectation of God doing something great!

Ram began his talk thumbing through John 4, the Samaritan woman. He brought us to a place of understanding the plight of this woman, and really being in that same moment as she and Jesus interacted. He went on sharing a story of breaking down cultural walls and being willing to see the campus not as a pit stop before adulthood, but a place of salvation just urging to happen.

At the end he gave a call for those who have yet to taste the living water that Jesus offers us all...and 2 students responded!!! Praise God! Ram then gave another call for believers to see the WVU campus as a place for salvation and a field of Harvest ready to be tended to. God moved greatly that night as students began lifting hands in praise and kneeling to the ground in reverence of our great and merciful King.

What a wonderful night of life, calling, and restoration! May the students you and I share in ministry be filled with the Holy Calling of God, who we love.
