Get ready...Get set...

GO!!!!

From my house I can hear the sounds of distant drums. The first sign of the Pride of WV, which means...students flocking to Morgantown for classes is just around the corner.

This summer has come and gone as quickly as it came. It's hard to believe that tonight I will be meeting our leadership team, along with Karla, for the first time this year. It's even more difficult to think that in just a few short days it will be the start of NSO (new student outreach)! This past week has been full of planning for this event of welcoming new and returning students back to campus, and offering them a place where they can grow spiritual and relationally.

I want to share with you some events that will be going on so you could join us in prayer for them, and us...

-Tonight (thur) is our first meeting with our leaders where we will talk about the semester and do some planning and prepare for NSO.

-Fri. 21 - Freshman move-in day (helping freshmen move into their dorms and invite them to a back2school bash). Friday evening we will be doing a proxe station at the rec center and Towers PRT station sharing the gospel with students.

-Sat. Back 2 school bash

-Tuesday 25 - we will be doing more proxe stations and have a picnic for the students and meet new students

-Wed.- Continue doing proxe stations

-mon. 31, tues. 1 - proxe stations on educating about human trafficking and sharing the gospel.

There are a few more tentative relational building events we will be holding, but this is the gist of things to come in the next 2 weeks. Please join us in prayer as we encounter new and old students and share with them the gospel and invite them to be a part of the IV community.
