The track I helped lead was brand new, so it was important for the 3 of us on the team were working well together. I am very fortunate that the 2 staff I was assigned with, Mark and Brian, were wonderful fun people. We worked well together, and the students in the track were open and inquisitive.
Me, Mark, Brian...the Live 2 Tell Team ^_^Another wonderful part of CFW was getting to room with Katie, who was volunteering for the week. It had been a long time since I last saw her so it was great to catch up and share in the experiences of CFW. Several times we would find ourselves during break talking of God, contemplation, ministry, and life in general. God used those times with Katie to help fill my soul with His goodness and joy that had run down that week.
This CFW was also good for me spiritually. The last CFW, when I was with my chapter, I was busy almost all of the time with very little down time. As much as I enjoyed it, I came home tired and spiritually worn. This week was just the opposite. Because I did not have a chapter I was able to find time more easily to just sit in God's presence and read scripture, or a book called Sacred Rhythms (highly recommend), and just enjoy his creation around me. I came back tired, but in a more satisfied state. It was truly a great week.

is them putting it back together, as God has called us to bring restoration to
the world. (simplistic saying of a whole day's teaching)

And yes they were as awesome and fun as they look. :-)
